On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Bretton Woods Conference, we will look not only at the footprint of the WorldBank and IMF, but also at pathways to tackle the polycrisis, the concurrent emergence of looming challenges.

To solve the polycrisis problems in our world and in our global financial architecture we need a systems thinking approach. Fadhel Kaboub is an expert advisor to the Independent Group of 77 and counsel to several African governments who will unveil fundamental just transition execution. His focus is on creating smart public policies to boost economic and monetary independence in the Global South, strengthen resilience, and foster fair and sustainable prosperity. He will introduce Peter Senge, esteemed for his groundbreaking contributions to systems thinking and organizational learning. His work focuses on helping us all understand complex issues better and work together as leaders to create healthier human systems. Together they will facilitate an interactive workshop, delving into the integration of systems thinking into our financial philosophy. This hands-on session will serve as a springboard for further exploration and development of ideas generated during the event.
